All trade applicants are required to relocate to the Centre of Queensland, Town of Mount Isa. We will Fitters are involved with the maintenance, repairs, installation, and component changing of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components

Interpret technical drawings and specifications

Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to a high standard

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment

Adhere to all WHS policies and procedures

Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

About You

Trade qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent)

Proven experience in heavy fabrication and welding

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong commitment to safety and quality

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All Applicants must be willing to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, including drug & alcohol testing.
