WE’RE HIRING – QUALIFIED MARINE TECHNICIAN

Can Do Marine, the Copper Coast Marine Centre, is looking for a Qualified Marine Technician to join our team here on the Copper Coast, Yorke Peninsula.

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, reliable and passionate about the marine industry.

The successful candidate will have:

• Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology, or equivalent motorcycle mechanical training with a genuine desire to move into the marine industry

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude

• A willingness to undertake ongoing learning and professional development

The role will include:

• Regular servicing, diagnostics and maintenance of vessels

• Fault finding and repairs

• Mechanical and electrical fitting

• Providing quality workmanship and practical solutions for our customers

• Working across a variety of marine systems and vessels

A three-month probationary period will apply.

Above-award wages will be offered to the successful candidate, depending on experience, qualifications and knowledge.
