We are now seeking experienced Logistics Manager to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis. We require reliable individuals with strong integrity who can contribute a positive, can-do attitude to both the role and the team
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of goods produced by the company.
Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
Determine, implement and monitor purchases, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
Operate recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
Oversee the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions
Responding to any issues or complaints.
Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements
Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
Logistics Manager Requirements:
Minimum associate degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field, preferably bachelor’s degree
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry.
Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
