Jo-Aden Group PTY LTD Wycheproof Medical Centre is seeking an energetic, skilled Registered Nurse (Practice Nurse) to collaborate with General Practitioners in delivering primary healthcare to the vibrant Wimmera-Mallee community. About the Role Working closely with general practitioners and practice staff, you will provide comprehensive patient care across all life stages.

You will serve as an essential clinical pillar within the clinic, coordinating care plans, running treatment rooms, and delivering evidence-based nursing interventions. Key Clinical Duties & Responsibilities Aged Care & Chronic Disease Management: Comprehensive GP Management Plans (GPMP), Team Care Arrangements (TCA), and home visit reviews. Immunisation: Administering routine childhood, adolescent, adult, occupational, and seasonal vaccinations under current cold-chain standards.

Preventative Health Assessments: Conducting annual 75+ health checks, 45–49-year-old health assessments, and heart health checks. Sexual & Reproductive Health: Cervical Screening Tests (CST collection), STI screenings, contraception support, and patient education. Ear Care: Safe ear examination and syringing/micro-suction procedures.

Clinical Procedures: Venepuncture (phlebotomy), resting 12-lead ECG acquisition, spirometry, and point-of-care testing. Wound Management: Evidence-based acute and chronic wound dressings, suture/staple removal, and ulcer management. Practice Support: Sterilisation monitoring, cold-chain compliance, stock control, recall and reminder management, and clinical documentation.
