Multiple Locations: Brisbane CBD OR Chermside QLD OR Mt Gravatt QLD

Contract Duration: 12-Month Assignment

Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $43.82 per hour + superannuation

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria: Australian Citizenship is mandatory

About the Role

Make a meaningful impact by supporting NDIS participants and delivering essential operational outcomes for the Agency. The APS4 Participant Support Officer performs administrative, clerical, and operational duties to help participants navigate their NDIS journey. You will manage daily workflows, review data, communicate directly with participants and service providers, and apply key NDIS legislation and operational guidelines under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct desktop reviews, input data into NDIS systems, and complete web-based forms.

Communicate with participants, providers, and stakeholders via phone and digital channels to address enquiries and provide guidance.

Process moderately complex planning tasks and assess entry/exit suitability for specialist streams in line with the NDIS Act and guidelines.

Manage individual workflows, prioritize competing tasks, and escalate complex issues to senior team members when required.

Assist with basic research, data analysis, reporting, and project management tasks.

Collaborate within a supportive team environment, providing peer support and contributing to process improvements.

What You Bring

Strong active listening, empathy, and communication skills.

Experience de-escalating sensitive situations and maintaining composure under pressure.

Ability to interpret policies, legislation, and procedures to solve daily operational problems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and capability to learn custom database software.

Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet targets.
