SOLID SPAN CARPENTRY PTY LTD Key Responsibilities Interpret and work from building plans, drawings, specifications and job instructions. Measure, mark and set out construction areas and materials accurately. Select, measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials.

Construct and install timber frames, walls, floors, roofs and other structural components. Install doors, windows, architraves, skirting, mouldings and other fixtures and fittings. Construct and repair timber structures and building components.

Prepare and assemble materials before installation. Use hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment safely and effectively. Check dimensions, levels, alignment and finished work to ensure required standards are met.

Carry out repair, maintenance, alteration and renovation work as required. Work cooperatively with other trades and follow project schedules. Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.

Comply with all relevant workplace health and safety requirements. Skills and Experience Relevant carpentry qualification and/or substantial demonstrated experience. Previous experience working as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans. Competent use of carpentry hand and power tools. Strong measuring, setting-out and finishing skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
