Production Workers

Farm Foods is a Geelong based food manufacturing business specialising in valued added meat products

Farm Foods are a 24 hour 5 days a week operation with occasional Saturday work through peak periods looking for production operators across day afternoon and night shift

Day Shift 6 to 8am start

Afternoon Shift 2 to 4pm start

Night Shift 8 to 9pm start

Hours may vary slightly as we monitor production levels and resourcing requirements Penalty rates apply as per the Meat Industry Award

Duties will include working within a production team to complete

Product handling packing and labelling

Packing boxes and palletising

Operating Production Machinery

Quality checking products

Cleaning and washing down equipment

Use of cleaning equipment hoses brooms etc

General Housekeeping

We are looking for people with the following attributes

Reliable and punctual

Ability to work in a fastpaced environment

Works well within a small team and has good verbal communication skills

Able to work in cold environment

Can work flexible hours as required

Safety and Quality conscious

Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards

Applicants must be willing to comply with Quality and Food Safety Standards

Successful Applicants will be required to undertake a medical assessment after 2 weeks of employment

Full training is provided while it is helpful to have experience you dont have to have experience to apply
