Retail Manager

MARUTI (WA) PTY. LTD. Maruti WA Pty Ltd operates Red Rooster Baldivis Southbound and is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the business.

This is a full-time management position responsible for the overall operation and performance of the retail food-service business. The Retail Manager will oversee business operations, team leadership, customer service, financial and sales performance, inventory and stock management, compliance, workplace health and safety, and operational planning. The position will have responsibility for planning, organising and coordinating resources to achieve business objectives, maintain operational standards and drive sustainable business performance.

Benefits $80,000 per annum + superannuation Task & responsibilities Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations. Plan and organise staffing requirements to ensure appropriate staffing levels across operating periods. Recruit, train, supervise and develop employees.

Prepare staff rosters and manage staff allocation according to operational requirements. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and guidance where required. Manage sales, revenue, labour costs and operating expenses.

Monitor business performance and implement strategies to improve sales, efficiency and profitability. Manage purchasing, stock levels, inventory control and wastage. Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and other relevant Australian requirements.

Maintain and implement operational policies, procedures and standards. Monitor customer service standards and respond appropriately to customer feedback and complaints Coordinate promotional and business activities to increase sales and customer satisfaction. Maintain operational records and prepare reports as required.

Identify operational issues and implement appropriate solutions. Lead and motivate the team to achieve business, customer service and operational objectives. Qualification & experience A relevant Diploma qualification or equivalent.

A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a retail, restaurant, hospitality or food-service management position. Demonstrated experience managing and supervising employees. Experience with staff rostering, training and performance management.

Experience managing stock, purchasing, inventory and wastage. Understanding of sales, labour costs and operational performance. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements. Ability to manage a busy, fast-paced operation.

Flexibility to work across a seven-day operation, including weekends and public holidays where required.
