Yamba Private Clinic is looking to recruit an energetic full/part time VR GP who has a passion for general practice.

Yamba Private Clinic is located right in the heart of Yamba, it is surrounded by wonderful coffee shops, restaurants and the new microbrewery is right next door. It was built back in the 1970’s and has been serving the local community ever since. It was purchased in January by Dr Fiona Couper who has been working at the clinic since 2018.

Yamba Private Clinic is dedicated to providing quality health care to its patients and also providing a great environment for staff to work in. In the last few months we have modernized the practice décor – renovating all consult rooms to provide a modern and fresh feel for both patients and staff. We have moved from bulk billing to full private billing and provide online bookings and a fully automated text reminding service along with a new website for patient information. We have a registered nurse working 4 days a week and a great admin team for support.

We are hoping to attract a permanent VR GP who is looking to relocate. Yamba is a great place to live with amazing year round climate, beautiful beaches and fishing. We have three airports within 45-90 minutes drive and great places to visit including Byron Bay 90 minutes drive and the Gold Coast just under 2 hours.

Eligible applicants have the opportunity to apply to the NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) for a Relocation Grant.
