About Us

Funtastic Kidz Early Learning Centre (Hampton Park Montessori and Early Learning) is a warm, family-focused early learning centre dedicated to nurturing the numeracy, literacy, social, emotional, physical and creative development of young children. We're looking for a passionate, qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team.

About the Role

As our Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support each child's development across all domains, working closely with families, colleagues and the broader centre community.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and structure learning experiences in both indoor and outdoor environments, using a variety of materials and equipment to support children's development

- Design activities that build motor skills, cooperative social skills, confidence and understanding

- Promote language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes and individual and group discussions

- Observe and assess children's progress, and identify early signs of ill health, emotional disturbance or other developmental concerns

- Monitor children's nutritional health, welfare and safety, and identify factors that may impede their progress

- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development

- Attend parent interviews, staff meetings and committee meetings

- Participate in community and family support programs as appropriate

- Supervise student teachers on placement

About You

- Bachelor degree (or higher) qualification in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent recognised qualification

- Current early childhood teacher registration (VIT or equivalent), or eligibility to obtain registration

- Working with Children Check and any other mandatory clearances

- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood development

- Ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team
