Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in line with our restaurant’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare menus in line with the restaurant’s culinary style and seasonal availability.

• Cook and present dishes to high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

• Oversee kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff as required.

• Monitor food quality, portion control, and kitchen efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of full-time proven experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen.

• Have associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma

• Strong knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques and menu planning.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Relevant qualifications or trade certifications in culinary arts will be highly regarded.
