Dairy Cattle Farm Operator

An opportunity has emerged for one Dairy Cattle Farm Operator to join Riverlane Dairy located in 251 Jindy Andy Lane Numbaa NSW 2540 on a full-time basis for 38 hours a week.

You should be willing to work closely with our caring team to perform well in this farm.

Riverlane Dairy is a dairy farm which consists of a strong andsupportive team of farmers and farmhands. We believe inutilizing our strong team to provide care for our cattle so thatwe can produce dairy of the highest quality.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• Feed cows with necessary food items and water.

• Read and record instrument information such as milk vattemperatures and cownumbers.

• Harvest milk from the cows

• Oversee the breeding of cows.

• Take care of the overall health of cows via administeringnecessary medications andvaccinations as necessary

• Keep track of the cow’s vaccination schedules and regulartesting for diseases.

• Identify and report any equipment faults.

• Perform maintenance work on the facilities such as the sheds,fixtures, fittings,fences.

• Maintain and repair equipment such as tractors and feeders.

• Operate equipment such as tractors and feeders efficiently.

• Ensure proper food safety regulatory requirements are met.

• Operate standard measuring equipment.

Candidates should also have the following:

• At least an AQF Certificate II or III (or equivalent) OR

• At least one year of recent and relevant work experience (two years preferred)

Salary of $98,800 plus super with 4 weeks annual leave and 10 days sick leave
