Grounds Maintenance Officer

With multiple positions available, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Garden Maintenance Officers to join a supportive team on a permanent basis. Your new role We are seeking reliable and hardworking Garden Maintenance Officers to support the ongoing upkeep and presentation of landscaped grounds and outdoor areas across multiple sites. This hands-on role will see you carrying out a variety of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, gardening, pruning, general clean-ups and routine site maintenance. You will work both independently and within a team to ensure outdoor spaces remain safe, tidy and visually appealing. Key responsibilities include:

Lawn mowing and edging

Pruning, weeding and planting

General horticultural maintenance

Garden clean-ups and rubbish removal

Irrigation checks and basic maintenance

Operation and maintenance of gardening equipment

Assisting with general grounds and site maintenance

Maintaining high safety and presentation standards

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in garden maintenance, horticulture, landscaping or groundskeeping

Experience operating mowers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers and other gardening equipment

Qualifications and/or experience in horticulture parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping

Experience in operation of a range of mowers, and small plant equipment

A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems

A Current Drivers licence

Ability to Obtain National Police Clearance and WWCC Clearance
