Mechanical Fitter

FIFO Mechanical Fitters Required or Local Mount Isa! We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a Structural, Mechanical & Piping project for an ongoing opportunity offering excellent rates, flights from Townsville, Brisbane or Cairns accommodation, and meals will be provided for during the rostered period. Your New Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical installation and maintenance work while ensuring all project deadlines and safety requirements are met. Key Responsibilities

Mechanical installation and assembly of plant and equipment

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Complete QA and project documentation

Work safely in line with site procedures and standards

Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to achieve project outcomes

What You'll Need to Succeed

Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification

Experience with alignment and soft foot corrections

Previous SMP project experience highly regarded (Install Control room, Construct HPU building, Cement Silo Install, Mixer Structure)

Strong focus on safety, quality and workmanship

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
