About our business

Honey Co Australia Pty Ltd. is a business operating in The Macedon Ranges Shire with a key focus on breeding bees and the sale of honey to retail markets across Victoria. We are looking for an experienced beekeeper to join our new team.

Duties of the role

Beekeepers are responsible for all aspects of the business such as beehive management and maintenance, queen bee rearing and replacement, dividing colonies and honey harvesting and extraction. You will report to our manager and aim to maintain healthy apiaries whilst maximising honey production during the beekeeping season.

Key requirements

Successful applicants must have the following attributes:

· 5 years prior experience working as an Apiarist or a relevant tertiary qualification.

· Communicative, independent and cope well under stress

· MR/HR Truck licence (if available)

· Forklift licence (if available)
