Summary

Munnopara Pizza Kitchen is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy pizza and Italian restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high operational standards, managing staff and supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role

This role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional with strong leadership, communication and organizational skills who is passionate about quality food and creating a welcoming customer experience. The Retail Manager will play a key role in coordinating staff, managing inventory and stock levels, ensuring food and service standards are maintained and achieving sales and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Managed the day-to-day operations of the retail establishment, ensuring efficient store performance and achievement of business objectives.

• Determined and managed product mix, stock levels and replenishment requirements based on customer demand, sales trends and market conditions.

• Formulated and implemented purchasing policies and coordinated procurement activities with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of products.

• Developed and implemented pricing strategies, promotional offers and sales policies in line with market conditions and business objectives.

• Planned and coordinated marketing, promotional and advertising activities to increase sales and attract and retain customers.

• Assisted customers with product selection and provided advice on the use, features and suitability of goods and services.

• Maintained and reviewed accurate records of stock levels, purchases, sales, expenses and other financial transactions.

• Prepared and monitored budgets, controlled operating expenses and reviewed financial and sales performance against business targets.

• Managed the selection, induction, training, rostering, supervision and performance of retail staff to maintain efficient operations and customer service standards.

• Ensured compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and established workplace procedures, maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the position:

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma

• At least 1 Year of work experience is required in the same field.
