About the Role:

This is a full-time role. Our clients are seeking 13 reliable and hardworking Harvest Worker (Farm Picker & Packer) to work on their farm based in Stanthrope region, Queensland starting on or around the 20/11/2026 As a Harvest Worker (Farm Picker & Packer), you will be responsible for harvesting crops and preparing produce for distribution.

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in all types of weather conditions including, cold, hot and wet weather, therefore must be able to deal with the different types of weather environments. You must be flexible to cover various shifts and weekend work as and when the need arises in order to support the team. You will be paid under the Horticulture Award – Full-time Level 2 at an hourly rate of $26.44 per hour, and a 2-year contract with an average minimum of 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing a variety of fruits (including Berries, Avocados, Mangoes, Citrus, and Apples)

in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining the quality of the produce.

• Sorting and packing harvested produce for transport and distribution.

• Operating farm equipment, such as picking carts, ladders, and other equipment as required.

• Assisting with general farm yard duties, such as sowing, planting and watering food produce

• Participating in general maintenance tasks

• Following all safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area.

• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

Required for the Role:

• Australian working rights (full-time hours)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.

• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods of time.

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

• Attention to detail and ability to identify and sort produce based on quality standards.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays if required.

You are a reliable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You take pride in your work and are committed to producing high-quality results. You have a strong work ethic and are able to work well under pressure. Prior experience in farm work or a similar role is desirable, but not essential.

Additional Requirement for Non-Local Applicants:
