Metal Machinist

Due to the commencement of various new contracts, we are currently looking for an experienced Full-Time Metal Machinist who can work well with API Certification and DP Master standard.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position based in Maddington, WA , working 38 hours per week for an annual of AUD 83,590.00.

Some of the tasks will include but not limited to:

- Ability to operate lathe/CNC machine, milling machine, grinding machine, bead blast and mangano/Zinc phosphate equipment, hydro test machine, buck on/buck off machine

- Ability to use inspection, measuring and test equipment

- Take responsibility for machine, equipment and tools supplied for work.

- Check part identity and study fabrication drawings and specification before commencing work.

- Follow all QA/QC procedures informing QC Inspector when work requires inspections

- Report to foreman for job status

The ideal candidate would need to have the following:

- Certificate 111 or Apprentice trained or with at least 5 years of similar work experience

- Able to interpret engineering drawing

- Able to use inspection, measuring and test equipment

- Able to work unsupervised safely and efficiently

- Able to work within a team environment

- Must have a current forklift license

- Be physically fit and willing to work hard

Experience with:

- API Connections to Spec 7-1/7-2

- Machining as per API Spec 6A and Spec 5CT

- TH Hill DS1 specifications
