Australian Venue Co. (AVC) is one of Australia's leading hospitality groups, operating more than 250 pubs, bars and restaurants across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking passionate and experienced chefs to join our growing culinary teams at a number of our venues throughout Queensland. There are multiple roles available across the following regions: Brisbane, Rockhampton, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Townsville, Airlie Beach, Mackay, Clermont, Gladstone, Hervey Bay, Roma, Toowoomba, Bundaberg and Caboolture.

As a Duty Manager/Assistant Venue Manager/Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring service standards are maintained, teams are supported, and guests leave wanting to return.

The successful candidate must be a strong leader with good communication skills who is comfortable leading and inspiring the team.

What do we need from you?

• Previous experience in a relevant role in the hospitality industry

• Strong food and beverage knowledge

• Ability to manage staff, stock, opening and closing procedures

• A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences

• Ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment

• Availability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays

• Strong leadership and communication skills

Salary negotiable $79k-$99k depending on experience.
