Project manager position available to work across a significant Government program.
Hays is proud to be partnering with a respected South Australian government organisation seeking an experienced Client Side Project Manager to support the design and development of an innovative housing program aimed at increasing affordable home ownership opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated project professional to lead the planning, feasibility, stakeholder engagement and project development activities associated with a significant housing initiative. Working within a high-performing property and development team, you will play a key role in shaping program outcomes and delivering strategic recommendations to support future implementation.
Your new role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for:
Leading the design and development of a housing-focused program and associated project plans.
Conducting research, feasibility assessments and business case development.
Preparing reports, briefings and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Managing project risks, issues, budgets and delivery milestones.
Coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, consultants and industry partners.
Supporting procurement activities, consultant engagement and contract administration.
Driving project outcomes through effective planning, governance and stakeholder management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate:
Significant experience delivering complex client-side development, infrastructure, property or capital projects.
Strong project management, feasibility and business case development skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
Experience working across government, property, housing, urban development or related sectors.
Exceptional communication, reporting and presentation skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
