APS6 Strategic Communications Officer

Your new company Join a high-profile Federal Government team delivering strategic communications, digital engagement and stakeholder messaging for a major Australian Government program. Your new role

Developing clear, engaging and audience-focused communication materials.

Supporting the implementation and maintenance of strategic communication plans.

Creating content for social media and digital channels, including forward planning and campaign support.

Coordinating information products, fact sheets and communication assets.

Assisting with multimedia content production, including video, photography and digital storytelling.

Building relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify communication opportunities.

Monitoring online engagement and supporting best-practice digital communication activities.

What you'll need to succeed

NV1 clearance is required, experience working within government or highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.

Experience developing and delivering strategic communications initiatives.

Strong writing, editing and content creation skills.

Social media management experience, including content planning and community engagement.

Experience producing communications collateral, digital assets or campaign materials.

Exposure to multimedia, video or visual content development.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design platforms is desirable.
