Efficient Recruitment Pty Ltd We are seeking a qualified and passionate Cook to join the busy kitchen team at JH Food Pty Ltd t/a Kesari – Point Cook. The successful candidate will prepare, cook, and present high-quality Indian cuisine while maintaining consistency, food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards. Benefits Competitive salary of $79,500 – $82,000 per annum.

Task & responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Ensure food is prepared and served according to restaurant quality and presentation standards. Manage daily food preparation and assist with stock control and ordering.

Monitor portion sizes, food quality, and wastage. Store and rotate ingredients appropriately to maintain freshness and quality. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene requirements.

Work effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods. Assist with developing new menu items and improving existing recipes. Qualification & experience Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Cook/Chef in a commercial kitchen. Strong knowledge of Indian spices, tandoor operation, and traditional Indian cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to food hygiene, safety, quality, and presentation standards.
