Broome Time Resort is looking for full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Hotel or Motel Receptionist and Commercial Housekeeping Supervisor to perform the following duties:

Hotel or Motel Receptionist

Duties and responsibilities:

• Guiding guests to the correct individual after offering them a friendly reception provide Customer service and guest assistance, providing information about services, facilities and local attractions

• Documenting and coordinating schedules for meetings

• Supplying details about the organization’s offerings and responding to questions

• Handling phone communications by responding, forwarding, and rerouting calls, also Answer phone calls and emails regarding booking as well as Enter, update and confirm reservations in the system

• Addressing and settling issues raised by customers and the general public, Resolve complaints with a service-oriented attitude

• Managing and circulating mail, fax transmissions, and packages received

• Keeping the entrance area organized and tidy and Follow hotel policies and safety procedures

• Guest check-in and check-out procedures

• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure efficiency in daily operations

• Process payments, deposits and refund securely

• Maintain good teamwork and professional communication with staff

Skills and experience:

• At least 1 year of experience required

• Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

• Show quick thinking and adaptability to maintain smooth daily operations

Commercial Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee housekeeping team during shifts, ensuring quality and efficiency in daily operations

• Guarantee room readiness and efficiency, focusing on optimizing work output

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness in both private and communal spaces, prioritizing hygiene

• Address special cleaning needs and cater to guest-specific requests promptly

• Assign tasks among cleaning staff, facilitating effective workload distribution

• Provide necessary training to enhance the skills of cleaning personnel

• Direct staff to meet operational targets throughout shifts

• Evaluate room cleanliness to uphold superior quality standards

• Ensure timely availability of accommodations for incoming guests

• Respond promptly to guest needs, resolve inquiries, and manage feedback

• Supervise the proper disposal process for waste and soiled linens when necessary

• Collaborate with maintenance and front office to maintain seamless operations

Hotel or Motel Receptionist and Commercial Housekeeping Supervisor’s Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)

Hotel or Motel Receptionist and Commercial Housekeeping Supervisor’s Salary: $71,000 – 90,000 per year
