Engineering Technologist

Our client, Pricerite Insulation, is looking for an Engineering Technologist who is interested in joining their team on a full-time basis. Located at Truganina, Victoria 3029, Pricerite Insulation is one of Melbourne’s largest suppliers and installers of insulation and thermal solutions.

Specialising in various insulation solutions, the company offers wall, ceiling, underfloor, and acoustic insulation, as well as wall wrapping. These services enhance energy efficiency, improve thermal and acoustic performance, and provide additional protection for homes and commercial spaces.

The offered salary range for the role is $75,000 to $85,000 per annum.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

• Supervising all on-site work to ensure the required quality and productivity.

• Studying architectural and engineering plans and drawings to estimate project costs.

• Managing all aspects of construction for assigned live projects and reporting to the Project Manager or Superintendent.

• Monitoring and controlling all aspects of health and safety to improve Quality Assurance.

• Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety regulations and enhancing the overall efficiency of on-site construction activities while minimising risks and promoting safety.

• Keeping accurate records of production and providing reports on completed work.

• Coordinating tasks and ensuring adherence to safe work method statements and risk assessments.

• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve productive project outcomes.

• Providing reports on completed work.

• Sourcing plant and materials for the project, including scheduling and programming work.

• Inspecting work, preparing final reports, and scheduling maintenance and repair tasks.

• Calculating material costs and verifying that completed work meets specifications, standards, and contract requirements.

• Assessing project requirements and determining appropriate construction methods.

• Managing multi-disciplinary project teams and collaborating with design and engineering consultancies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Should have at least one (1) year of relevant experience in an Australian setting.

• Must possess a relevant Bachelor's degree.
