Position: Childcare Worker

Location: Chifley NSW 2036

Salary: $78,000 - $82,000 plus Superannuation

As a Childcare Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Supervise and care for children in accordance with centre policies and safety regulations

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities

Observe and document children’s development, behaviour, and progress

Support children’s social and emotional development, encouraging positive interactions

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations

Adhere to all relevant childcare standards, licensing requirements, and workplace health and safety policies

To qualify for this role, you must have:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting

Knowledge of child development principles and safety regulations

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Current Working With Children Check

First Aid and CPR certification preferred
