Horizon International College is a registered training organisation delivering vocational education to domestic and international students. We are seeking a Marketing Officer to identify market opportunities and advise on the development, coordination and implementation of plans for pricing and promoting the College’s training products and services.

This is an office-based professional marketing role. It is not a front-line retail, enrolment sales, student counselling or call-centre position. The work is strategic and analytical: market intelligence, campaign planning, brand positioning, digital performance and advice to management on how the College presents its qualifications and services in the vocational education market.

About the role

Working with College leadership and external creative and media partners, you will plan and coordinate marketing activity that builds awareness of Horizon International College and supports organisational growth. You will research demand for existing and new training offerings, analyse competitor and market data, and recommend pricing, product-mix and promotional approaches at an organisational level. You will oversee the production of advertising and digital campaigns within time and budget, measure results, and advise on improvements to content and channel performance.

Key duties

Design and organise advertising policies and multi-channel campaigns that support the College’s growth objectives, rather than individual enrolment transactions.

Advise management on advertising and brand strategies that raise awareness of the College and clearly communicate the features of its vocational programs to target markets.

Coordinate the production of campaigns, including artwork, copy, media scripting, digital and offline placement, within agreed timelines and budgets.

Research potential demand and market characteristics for current and proposed training products and collect and interpret statistical and market data.

Prepare and implement marketing objectives, policies and programs that support business development across the College.

Commission and undertake market research to identify opportunities for existing and new qualifications and services.

Provide advice on the marketing mix, including program mix, fee positioning, advertising, sales promotion and distribution channels at organisational level.

Create, schedule and publish marketing content for the College website and social platforms in line with approved brand and compliance requirements.

Apply analytical methods to assess how pricing and promotional decisions may affect commercial outcomes.

Monitor campaign and initiative performance and prepare regular reports and insights for management.

Analyse results from digital campaigns and platforms and recommend content and channel adjustments that improve search visibility and campaign effectiveness.

About you

Applicants must hold minimum bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.

Applicants should have minimum of 1 year of experience,

Preference will be given to candidates with additional years of experience.
