Salary: AUD $85,000 per annum + statutory superannuation

About the Role
Noor Bees Perth is seeking an experienced Apiarist / Queen Bee Breeding Specialist to manage commercial queen breeding, colony health, biosecurity and apiary operations across Western Australia.
Key Duties
* Manage commercial apiaries and monitor colony health and productivity.
* Conduct queen rearing, selective breeding and controlled mating programs.
* Perform instrumental/artificial insemination where required.
* Inspect hives and manage bee health, disease risks and biosecurity.
* Maintain breeding, colony and production records.
* Coordinate seasonal hive management, swarm prevention and honey production.
* Maintain beekeeping equipment and relevant farm equipment.
* Supervise and train apiary staff.
* Travel to other apiary sites within Western Australia as required.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial beekeeping or queen breeding experience.
* Strong experience in queen rearing, selective breeding and colony management.
* Instrumental insemination experience highly regarded.
* Strong knowledge of bee health, pest surveillance and biosecurity.
* Relevant beekeeping qualification or vocational training preferred.
* Driver licence required or ability to obtain an Australian licence.
