About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead business development, client relationships, and brand growth for Shaffico's international trading operations across our food, commodities, and industrial chemicals divisions. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our overseas markets, sourcing new trade partnerships, and strengthening our presence in existing and emerging regions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow Shaffico's international customer base across food, agri-commodities, and construction/mining chemicals

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in overseas markets, particularly China and the broader Asia-Pacific region

Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, suppliers, and trade partners in the food, commodities, and industrial/mining chemical sectors

Represent Shaffico at overseas meetings, trade fairs, and site visits, requiring regular international travel

Prepare and negotiate quotations, proposals, and trade agreements

Liaise with suppliers and clients in both English and Mandarin/Chinese

Support marketing initiatives including product presentations, promotional materials, and digital outreach

Report on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities across all product lines

Requirements

Proven experience in sales and marketing, ideally within international trade, commodities, industrial chemicals, or FMCG

Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), written and spoken — essential

Willingness and ability to travel overseas regularly

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Understanding of import/export processes and international trade documentation (advantageous)

Knowledge of construction/mining chemical products or industrial supply chains (advantageous)

Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously

Valid passport and flexibility for international travel
