MR Truck Driver

Sunfresh Linen is seeking an MR Truck Driver to join our transport operations team on a casual basis. This role is based in Darra, QLD and offers more than just a driving job. It's an opportunity to be part of a dynamic logistics operation where your reliability and professionalism directly contribute to our success. As an MR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting linen along various routes, operating your vehicle with care, and ensuring the timely delivery of our linen to our valued customers. This is a hands-on position that requires both driving expertise and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a medium rigid (MR) truck safely and efficiently across assigned routes

• Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues or defects

• Loading, securing and unloading linen in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures

• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly

• Meeting delivery schedules whilst adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations

• Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers and management regarding route updates and delivery status

• Always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour with customers and colleagues

• Keeping the vehicle clean and well-maintained throughout the working day

What we’re looking for

• Valid MR truck licence

• Demonstrated experience driving MR trucks in a commercial or logistics environment

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and a clean driving record

• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery deadlines

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks

• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
