We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service station and convenience store and lead our retail team. About the Position We are currently seeking a full-time Retail Manager for our business located in Myrtleford, Victoria.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service station and convenience store, coordinating staff, maintaining stock and financial controls, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service and store presentation. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the daily operation of the service station and convenience store to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. * Lead, supervise and support retail employees and provide appropriate workplace training and guidance. * Prepare staff rosters and coordinate staffing requirements according to trading conditions and business needs. * Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, direction and support to team members. * Organise purchasing and replenishment of fuel, grocery, convenience and other retail products. * Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks and minimise stock shortages, wastage and discrepancies. * Review sales results, operating expenses and other store performance information. * Maintain accurate records relating to sales, stock movements, cash transactions and general store operations. * Ensure customers receive friendly, professional and efficient service. * Respond to customer enquiries and complaints and take appropriate steps to resolve issues. * Maintain high standards of cleanliness, store presentation, product displays and merchandising. * Coordinate promotional activities and assist with initiatives designed to improve sales and customer engagement. * Ensure employees follow workplace health and safety, food safety, company and operational procedures. * Monitor cash handling processes, including cash reconciliation and banking procedures. * Maintain appropriate security and loss-prevention practices across the service station and convenience store. * Identify operational issues and take timely action to maintain efficient and compliant business operations. * Assist management with achieving sales, service and operational objectives for the business.

What We Offer * Salary: $79,423 + Superannuation per annum * Position: Full-time * Hours: 38 hours per week * Ongoing support and training from our management team * The opportunity to take responsibility for the operation of an established service station and convenience store in Myrtleford Requirements of the Position Applicants should have: * An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field and at least 1 year of relevant work experience; or * At least 3 years of relevant work experience in retail management or a closely related role in lieu of the formal qualification. * Previous experience supervising staff and coordinating retail operations. * Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills. * The ability to manage staff, stock, cash handling and daily retail operations effectively. * Good understanding of workplace health and safety, food safety and retail compliance requirements. * The ability to work independently, solve operational problems and lead a team in a busy service station and convenience store environment. * A professional and customer-focused approach to managing the business and supporting employees.
