Global Company looking for experienced financial operations officer (AP) to join their team in North Sydney Your new company
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established global organisation in a unique Finance & Fleet Operations role. This position sits within a collaborative Business Services team and combines finance operations, accounts payable oversight and fleet administration responsibilities across Australia and New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Accounts Payable, Finance Operations or Shared Services experience who enjoys stakeholder management, process improvement and coordinating activities across multiple teams. Fleet experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
Your new role Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across finance and fleet functions while acting as the primary link between internal stakeholders, suppliers and an offshore Accounts Payable team.
Coordinating and overseeing Accounts Payable activities performed by an offshore support team
Managing expense claims, corporate credit cards and Concur expense administration
Supporting reconciliations, financial reporting and month-end activities
Assisting with fleet administration, including vehicle leasing, supplier management and policy compliance
Supporting fleet-related accounting and operational processes
Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and service providers
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies
Assisting with reporting, compliance, audits and governance activities
Providing operational support across a range of business services functions
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Shared Services or a similar finance support role
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience using ERP systems and finance platforms such as SAP, Concur or similar
Solid reconciliation and administration skills
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
What you'll get in return

$90-95,000 + Superannuation
