MedicalJobsAustralia.com We are seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join the General Medical Ward at Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
In this role, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic acute care environment. Successful candidates will be available to work a rotating roster, including morning (AM), afternoon (PM), night shifts, and weekends, based on a 12-hour shift pattern.
Epworth Freemasons features a 33-bed acute general medical unit and a 8-bed day medical unit for infusions and other day procedures. We also provide comprehensive cancer care and a full range of surgical services, including robotic-assisted surgery, orthopaedics, and ICU care.
At Epworth, our General Medicine teams play a vital role in the well-being of thousands of patients who may be suffering from debilitating or distressing conditions. A wide range of acute and chronic medical problems are treated with advanced care, technology and services by multidisciplinary teams.
You will make an impact by:
Delivering high quality nursing care and an exceptional experience to our patients
Utilising reflective, critical thinking and evidence-based approach to the clinical care of patients
Working collaboratively with fellow members of the multidisciplinary team
Actively participating in quality improvement activities
To be successful in this role:
You are highly accountable and demonstrate a supportive and engaging style and are committed to further developing leadership skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent time management and organisational skills, which enable you to prioritise effectively to manage multiple requirements.
You will have:
Current AHPRA nursing registration
Demonstrated senior-level experience in an acute care setting
Proficiency in patient assessment and strong clinical skills
Excellent communication, both written and verbal

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses - AUD $85,732- $107,669 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position-experience (prorated for part-time).
