Experience Range

• 13+ years of software engineering experience.

• Minimum 4+ years in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, or Enterprise Application Modernization roles.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design, architect, and deliver scalable enterprise technology solutions leveraging Java, Spring Boot Microservices, AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, and Harness CI/CD platforms. The role will be responsible for defining solution architectures, leading application modernization initiatives, supporting cloud transformation programs, and guiding engineering teams through complex enterprise technology implementations.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, application integration, DevOps practices, migration strategies, and modernization of legacy platforms including mainframe environments. Experience with .NET technologies is highly desirable.

Description / Duty Detail

The successful candidate will:

• Design end-to-end enterprise software solutions aligned with business and technology strategies.

• Define solution architecture standards, patterns, and governance frameworks.

• Architect cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

• Develop and maintain solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering and project teams.

• Design event-driven and API-first integration solutions across enterprise applications.

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness and related DevOps toolsets.

• Assess legacy application landscapes and develop modernization roadmaps.

• Lead mainframe modernization and transformation initiatives including assessment, migration planning, and target-state design.

• Develop migration strategies for applications transitioning from legacy platforms to modern cloud environments.

• Evaluate application dependencies, integration requirements, security controls, and transformation risks.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver technology outcomes.

• Ensure architecture compliance with security, governance, scalability, reliability, and performance standards.

• Support cloud migration initiatives, application rationalization programs, and digital transformation projects.

• Mentor engineers and technical leads on architecture best practices and modern software engineering principles.

• Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and modernization approaches to improve enterprise platforms.
