We are seeking highly skilled Roofers to join our team. We offer full-time permanent employment and short-term 3-6 months' non-ongoing contracts with above-award pay rates fully guaranteed under current workplace regulations.

The role includes but is not limited to:

Conducting accurate site measures before erecting scaffolding and cutting and installing roof materials such as insulation, waterproof underlays, sheet metal and protective paint.

Inspecting the structure of roofs in order to determine the best course of action.

Providing clients with estimates on labor costs and materials required to fix or build a roof.

Measuring and cutting materials to ensure that they fit securely around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls.

Smoothing out rough spots on roofs to prepare the surface for new shingles or waterproofing.

Replacing areas of clients’ roofs that are damaged or rotting.

Installing vapor barriers and insulation to create a more waterproof seal.

Safely setting up ladders, scaffolding, and hoisting equipment as required.

Installing and/or replacing valleys, gutters, ridge and all associated rain water goods

Updating the supervisor on job progress and reporting any problems related to the job.

Safely transporting all required equipment and materials to job sites.

Ensuring site is tidy and safe at all times

Safe disposal all roofing materials

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

Trade qualified

Physically fit

Knowledge in operating wide range of hand tools and power tools

Strong attention to detail and the ability to conduct quality checks on completed work

Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace

Strong communication skills

Excellent reporting skills

Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable

Must have great work ethics
