Registered Nurse

Antiochian Care Limited We are recruiting a full-time registered nurses for a state of the art aged care facility (St Nicholas Seniors Care Centre) in Punchbowl. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Residential Care team, to support the Inner West region in general and the Antiochian Orthodox community in particular. As a successful candidate, one will deliver efficient clinical nursing care that promotes individual capacity, resilience, and self-determination as well as social engagement and quality of life for both residents and their loved ones.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities Clinical Care Delivery Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care and monitoring vital signs Develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams Conduct comprehensive health assessments and update care plans as residents' conditions change 2. Medication Management Administer medications safely and accurately according to prescribed orders Monitor and document resident's responses to medications and report any adverse effects to the physician Maintain compliance with medication storage and handling products 3.

Leadership and Supervision Provide guidance and support to Care Service Employees (CSEs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENS) during shifts Supervise the delivery of care to ensure it aligns with care plans, organisational policies, and aged care standards Act as the clinical lead during shifts, managing care priorities and delegating tasks as necessary 4. Resident and Family Communication Build positive relationships with residents, ensuing their dignity, preferences, and culture needs are respected Communicate with resident's families regarding health updates, care plans, and any changes in condition Address and resolve concerns or complaints promptly and professionally 5.
