Procurement Specialist

Working as a procurement & contracts specialist you will be responsible for providing end-to-end sourcing, contracting & contract administration across Tier 13 contractor packages & capital project procurement. During the planning pre-award phases, you will execute RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, manage prequalification and evaluation activities, lead commercial negotiations & prepare recommendations for award. You will draft, negotiate & execute contracts, statements of work & variations, while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements. Your role will involve validating daily & weekly cost reporting (CWSR/CDSR), managing variations and emergent works, tracking KPIs supporting corrective actions where required. You will maintain procurement dashboards, progress trackers & contribute to finance & project controls reporting. At close-out, you will support final invoicing, performance reviews, SAP close-out actions & ensure all records are archived in line with governance standards. The role requires close collaboration with senior procurement leaders, turnaround managers, HSE, legal, finance & external contractors to ensure safe & commercially sound project delivery. Min 5+ years experience in procurement & contract administration within turnarounds, shutdowns, mining, chemicals or heavy industry Proven end-to-end sourcing experience (RFI/RFQ/RFP), evaluation management & commercial negotiation

Strong contract drafting, execution & administration experience, including variations, emergent scope & KPI management

Experience working with SAP (P2P) & strong MS Office/Excel capability; Strong understanding of governance, procurement policies & compliance frameworks; Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships across HSE, IR/ER, Legal, Finance & Project Controls; Willingness to travel to Phosphate Hill & Mount Isa sites & work execution rosters, incl weekends where required
