The successful candidate will support the organisation’s technology systems and help ensure they operate efficiently and reliably. The System Analyst will work closely with staff to understand system requirements, identify areas for improvement, and support the effective use of business systems and technology. Task & responsibilities Analyse existing business processes, procedures and work practices to identify operational requirements and opportunities for improvement. Consult with users and key stakeholders to gather, clarify and document business and system requirements. Develop detailed functional specifications to guide system developers in designing and implementing suitable solutions.

Apply data and process modelling techniques to prepare clear system specifications for software design and development. Assess process inefficiencies and recommend improved business practices, system functions and operational solutions. Plan and manage system-related projects using appropriate project management methodologies, including scheduling, costing and resource allocation.

Coordinate the implementation of functional solutions and prepare system test plans to ensure quality, reliability and system integrity. Prepare user guides, training materials and other system documentation, and provide formal training to users where required. Serve as a key point of reference for system projects by providing technical guidance, information and support during decision-making processes.

Qualification & experience Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant work experience. Minimum of 1 year experience in related position Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
