Swart and Sons are a multifaceted industrial services company based in Adelaide. Our heritage division urgently requires skilled solid PAINTERS for ongoing work.

Requirements:

Operating a variety of equipment, including blast pots, spray guns, rotor stator pumps and dry spray pumps – both safely and environmentally friendly

Mixing paint / coatings to desired colour and consistency

Able to apply all types of coatings (ie epoxy, polyurethane) using various application methods

General construction industry training (white card)

Work autonomously and as part of a team, as required

Understand surface preparation and finishes.

Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.

Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.

Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.

Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.

Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Erecting scaffolding and ladders.

Cleaning equipment and work areas.

Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
