We service our customers in all states of Australia through multiple businesses in our portfolio: NEPEAN Building and Infrastructure (Galserv, Galintel, Weldlok), NEPEAN Engineering and Innovation, NEPEAN Power, Mining (NEPEAN Longwall), PROK, NEPEAN Conveyors, NEPEAN Transport, Gurtec, Roxon, and NEPEAN Belting Mackay with business locations in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. We offer full-time permanent employment and short-term 3-6 months' non-ongoing contracts with above-award pay rates fully guaranteed under current workplace regulations.

Ideal applicants will possess the following:

At least 3 years’ experience

Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent

Coal Board Medical / BMA Health Assessment

Construction Induction (White or Blue Card)

Working at Heights

Working in Confined Space

Current Drivers Licence (MR or HR class is desirable)

High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift (desirable)

MSIC Card (desirable)

Must have great work ethics and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

Understand surface preparation and finishes.

Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.

Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.

Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.

Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.

Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Erecting scaffolding and ladders.

Cleaning equipment and work areas.
