CARPENTER – FULL-TIME POSITION

MAIZE GROUP is seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work across a range of construction projects.

Position Details

Location: Sydney, NSW

Employment: Full-time

Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary: From AUD $79,500 per annum + 12% superannuation

Key Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications.

Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling timber and other construction materials.

Constructing, installing and repairing structures and fixtures, including wall and ceiling frames, flooring, doors, windows and other building components.

Erecting frameworks and roof framing.

Installing and fitting internal and external fixtures.

Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Ensuring work is completed accurately and in accordance with plans and specifications.

Carrying out repairs and maintenance as required.

Working effectively with other trades and construction team members.

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment and complying with WHS requirements.

Requirements

Applicants should have relevant carpentry qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience, strong practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A valid driver's licence and White Card are desirable.
