Restaurant Manager

Located in Eneabba WA 6518, The Whereaway Tavern is a country pub offering food, beverages and entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere. The business is currently seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to manage its hospitality operations and join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day food and beverage operations of the venue.

Supervising and coordinating hospitality staff and daily service activities.

Managing staff rosters and allocating duties to support efficient operations.

Maintaining high standards of customer service and handling customer enquiries and feedback.

Monitoring stock levels and coordinating the ordering of food, beverages and other supplies.

Maintaining appropriate standards of cleanliness, presentation and service throughout the venue.

Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and applicable liquor licensing requirements.

Coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient food and beverage service.

Monitoring operational costs and assisting with budgeting and cost control.

Supporting the smooth operation of functions and entertainment activities hosted at the venue.

About You

At least 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant, venue or hospitality management.

Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.

Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Good organisational and time management abilities.

Understanding of food safety, hygiene and relevant hospitality requirements.

Ability to manage stock and coordinate daily operational requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a hospitality team.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: AUD $80,000 – $100,000 per annum
