Coolgardie Gold Rush Motels is seeking a talented Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in Coolgardie, WA. This full-time position requires a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.

Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and food safety.

Ordering stock, accepting deliveries and storing.

Planning menu, estimating food and labour costs.

Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.

Discussing food preparation issues with a managers, and kitchen/waiting staff.

Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.

Assist in training junior kitchen staff.

Train and guide junior staff.

Clean kitchen and dining areas after shifts.

Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

Diploma in Hospitality Management

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
