Your new role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex structural engineering projects across the mining, marine and transport infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

Undertaking structural design and analysis of steel and concrete structures using advanced engineering software

Delivering projects with a strong focus on safety, quality and technical excellence

Performing structural assessments, audits, inspections and condition surveys

Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact on assigned projects

Preparing engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and interstate offices to deliver project outcomes

Supporting asset integrity, maintenance and remediation projects across various industries

Assisting with project delivery, planning and stakeholder engagement activities

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Minimum 8 years' experience within structural engineering

CP Eng and RPEQ certification

Strong experience delivering projects within mining, marine, transport or heavy industry sectors

Advanced proficiency with structural analysis software including Strand7 and/or SpaceGass

Sound knowledge of structural design, analysis and project delivery methodologies

Experience managing clients, stakeholders and project outcomes

Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Unrestricted Australian working rights

Professional level written and verbal English communication skills

Current unrestricted driver's licence
