Farm Hand

GO.FARM Operations Pty Ltd is seeking a Farm Hand to join their team in the Goulburn Valley region, Victoria.

Aout the role - In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting day to day farm operations with the following responsibilities:

- Supporting farm activities such as planting, weeding, crop maintenance and harvesting

- Undertake spraying of Orchard with pesticides to control weed growth, insects, fungus growth and other diseases as required

- Safe operation of irrigation systems including sprinkler and flood irrigation

- Assisting with maintenance of farming equipment and property

- Maintaining and cleaning farming infrastructure and equipment such as sheds, fences, plant, and water supply and irrigation systems

- Operating and maintaining general farm machinery and machinery to support Orchard Operations

- Operating data collection and farm technology systems as needed

- Other duties as required

About you - You enjoy working with people, take pride in doing things well, and want to be part of something with purpose. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- Current Drivers Licence

- Certificate II or III in Agriculture based qualification, or 1 year relevant experience

- Willingness to ask questions, learn and improve

- Strong interpersonal skills

Salary: $79,423 Per annum
