Full-Time Diesel Motor Mechanic

SALARY $81,016 salary p.a. + SUPERANNUATION

DUTIES

• Service and maintenance on all heavy vehicle, heavy machinery & equipment,

• Diagnose faults in heavy vehicle,

• Dismantling and removing faulty parts,

• Replacing and repairing defective parts,

• Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance services,

• Repairing and replacing transmissions, steering, braking systems and other vehicle parts and components,

• Perform engine overhauls,

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, drivers and management,

• Document all repairs, perform repairs to manufacturers specifications,

• Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheet,

• Perform final checks on vehicles,

• Follow occupational health & safety requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Hold trade certificate or qualification in the Automotive Mechanical trade with at least 2 years’ experience in the mechanical industry.
