Trailer Mechanic / Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Motor Mechanic

We have Trailer Mechanic/Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic positions available across our various locations. Main duties involve servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of road transport vehicles and equipment at our local workshops.

Salaries are dependent on skills & experience -

• Bruce Rock, WA, 6418 - From $85,000

• Forrestfield, WA, 6058 - From $79,500

• Geraldton, WA, 6530 - From $85,000

• Port Hedland, WA, 6721 - from $105,000

These positions are -

• Full Time Permanent

• Various rosters available

• Tool Allowance $35.00 paid fortnightly

• ASAP Start !

The key responsibilities for these roles include:

• Servicing and maintenance of trucks and trailers, as per client requirements

• Trailer/truck assembly

• Interpreting drawings and procedures.

• Working on braking systems including ABS/EBS systems

• Working with truck/trailer electrical, air and hydraulic systems

• Working on hydraulics and PTO systems used in tippers and side tippers

• Re-setting wheel alignment using modern 3D camera equipment

Required skills and experience:

• Any mechanical Trade Certification preferred - LV / HV / Fitters are encouraged to apply.

• For non-Trade Certified applicants, 2-3 years experience required working on similar equipment.

• Forklift ticket (high risk licence)

• Have Australian working rights
