Operations Coordinator

Location: Garden Island, Potts Point, NSW (Onsite)

Clearance Required: Active Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV)

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to shape the future of maritime training operations . Based full-time in Sydney, you will provide critical planning, coordination, and administrative support for complex maritime and joint collective training exercises . This role requires a professional capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment .

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive planning, preparation, and execution support for maritime and joint collective training activities .

Develop and maintain exercise documentation, operational products, and lessons learned databases .

Liaise heavily with Joint stakeholders, allied partners, and support agencies to manage exercise schedules and battle rhythms .

Coordinate participant access to secure facilities, IT systems, and communications networks .

Ensure rigorous security, governance, and compliance requirements are met throughout all exercise activities .

Essential Requirements

Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Security Clearance .

Experience: Demonstrated background in military operations, planning, training, or exercise coordination environments .

Knowledge: Deep understanding of maritime operations, operational art, and the ability to translate objectives into realistic training environments .

Systems Expertise: Experience using military planning, operations, and Defence IT systems .

Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by the Commonwealth .
