We are seeking an experienced automotive professional who is committed to quality workmanship, efficient repairs, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful applicant will be required to perform a variety of mechanical and automotive servicing duties, including: Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and computerised systems. Carrying out inspections and testing of vehicles to identify faults, defects, and required repairs.

Performing servicing and general maintenance across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Repairing, adjusting, or replacing faulty, damaged, or worn vehicle components and parts. Undertaking brake system repairs, clutch replacements, timing belt work, and other mechanical repairs as required.

Performing engine and transmission oil changes, as well as checking and replacing other vehicle fluids. Conducting roadworthy inspections and ensuring vehicles comply with applicable safety and roadworthiness requirements. Carrying out final inspections and quality checks to ensure completed repairs meet the required standards before vehicles are returned to customers.

Discussing identified vehicle faults, repair recommendations, servicing requirements, and estimated repair costs with customers in a professional manner. Maintaining accurate and organised work practices to ensure repairs and servicing are completed efficiently and within appropriate timeframes. Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements.

Staying informed about developments in automotive technology, diagnostic systems, repair techniques, and industry practices. Skills and Requirements To be successful in this position, applicants will need: Certificate III or higher qualification in Automotive Technology or a related automotive trade. At least 1 year of relevant experience working in the automotive repair industry.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and vehicle diagnostic capabilities. Sound knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures. Ability to efficiently carry out servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and mechanical repairs.

Good organisational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Professional attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
