Description

Our client requires up to 20 hardworking, nimble-fingered and reliable farm workers to harvest, pack, and sort apples and related crops in Drouin Victoria and the surrounding area. You MUST be available to start work from around early November 2026 to around July/August 2027 and be available for a minimum of 4-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, for the duration of the season. Some weekend work may be offered. The positions involve varying early start times depending on crop availability and management requirements. Flexibility is a must as the crops’ growth and harvest is weather dependent and may be intermittent. The positions involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions from hot dry conditions to very cold, wet, and muddy conditions.

We need reliable and flexible workers who are physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties may include, but are not limited to, harvesting, cleaning, trimming, sorting apples, and pruning trees outdoors. The duties involve regular lifting, constant standing, walking, and bending to pick, pack, and sort products.

You will have good communication skills and be able to work well in small and large teams from various cultural backgrounds.

Wages are paid as per the Australian Horticultural Award 2020 hourly rate. The ability to adhere to company QA and WHS requirements is a must. The positions are offered through a Labour Hire agency on casual basis for the season period only.
