Occupational Therapist: Independent Subcontractor Opportunity in Melbourne and Geelong areas

A specialist allied health therapy team in Mebourne is seeking an experienced and self-directed Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary practice on an independent subcontractor basis. This opportunity offers maximum autonomy, flexibility, and the professional freedom to manage one’s own schedule and choose preferred caseloads.

The Role

The OT will use a person-centred approach to deliver high-quality, flexible, and responsive disability support services. The primary mission is to help older people and individuals with a disability improve their independence in daily living.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing therapeutic interventions for clients under NDIS, TAC, and WorkSafe services.

Assessing and implementing strategies to improve clients' daily living skills and adapt their home and community environments.

Assisting participants with supported independent living, accommodation options, and daily personal activities.

Working collaboratively with an allied health team to ensure holistic client support.

Conducting comprehensive evaluations and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records.

Supporting community participation and the development of social skills, potentially through engagement in programs such as adult day programs or school holiday activities.
